Obverse description Youthful, beardless head of Heracles in right profile, wearing the Nemean lion skin headdress with the scalp covering the crown and the knotted forepaws draped over the neck, all rendered with fine engraved detail. The portrait follows the idealized Lysippan convention established for Alexander III coinage, presenting strong, carefully modeled facial features with curling hair visible beneath the headdress. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, characteristic of late fourth-century Macedonian hammered silver production. No legend or inscription appears on the obverse field.
