Obverse description Facing right, the youthful and beardless head of Heracles is rendered in high relief, wearing the Nemean lion skin headdress whose scalp and knotted paws drape naturally across the neck and shoulder. The facial features are finely modelled in the Hellenistic tradition, with a strong profile, slightly parted lips, and a confident upward gaze. The surrounding dotted border frames the design cleanly within the coin's irregular flan. No legend appears on the obverse, the divine association of Alexander with Heracles being conveyed solely through iconography.
