Obverse description Right-facing head of the deified Heracles in three-quarter relief, wearing the Nemean lion scalp headdress, the lion's mane and paws visible framing the hero's youthful features. The portrait is rendered in the vigorous late Classical style characteristic of the Sardis mint, with finely modelled facial contours and deeply worked hair. A beaded border encircles the design field.

Reverse description Zeus Aetophoros enthroned left on a high-backed throne, his upper body nude and lower body draped, holding a long sceptre upright in his left hand and extending his right hand to present a standing eagle. The throne is rendered with careful architectural detail, its legs and footrest clearly articulated. A torch symbol appears in the left field as a mint control mark. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs downward along the right field, and a dotted border frames the composition.
