A Boeotian shield appears as a control symbol in the left field. The reverse legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs to the right of the throne, identifying the coin as struck in the name of Alexander. The composition adheres closely to the canonical Alexandrine reverse type as catalogued by Price. |
