Obverse description Youthful, beardless head of Heracles facing right, depicted in three-quarter relief, wearing the Nemean lion scalp headdress with the beast's open jaws framing the crown of the head and its paws knotted at the throat. The facial features are rendered with fine Hellenistic artistry, exhibiting a strong profile with a prominent nose, full lips, and a rounded chin. The mane of the lion skin falls naturalistically behind the neck, framing the composition within the coin's field. No legend or inscription appears on the obverse.
