| Obverse description | Youthful right-facing bust of Heracles in three-quarter relief, draped in the scalp and mane of the Nemean lion, the gaping jaws framing the hero's curling hair and forehead. The idealized features — straight nose, parted lips, and strong jaw — are rendered in the refined Lysippan tradition characteristic of posthumous Alexandrine coinage. A fine beaded border encircles the design, and the flan retains good centricity with natural flan irregularities consistent with hand-struck production. |
