Obverse description Youthful head of Heracles facing right, depicted beardless, enveloped in the lion skin headdress — the scalp drawn tightly over the crown with the beast's forelegs knotted at the throat. The hair cascades in wavy locks beneath the pelt, and the facial features are rendered with confident Hellenistic plasticity, exhibiting a strong jaw, open lips, and a prominent brow. The flan is broad and well-centred, with no legend or inscription, the heroic portrait filling the field in the canonical Alexander-type tradition.
