| Reverse description | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low throne, his nude torso turned slightly forward; his extended right hand supports an eagle with closed wings, while his left hand grasps a tall sceptre. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. In the left field a harpa (curved sword) is placed above, and a monogram appears below the throne, serving as a mint control symbol characteristic of the Argos issue. The composition is framed by a plain linear border. |
