Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a backless throne, his upper body nude and his lower body draped, holding a long sceptre upright in his raised left hand while extending his right hand forward to support an eagle with closed wings. The legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right and upper fields. In the left field, a bull's head appears above a monogram, with a further control monogram placed beneath the throne, serving as mint or magistrate identifiers characteristic of posthumous Alexandrine issues.
