| Obverse description | Youthful bust of Heracles in right profile, wearing the lion skin headdress with the scalp drawn over the crown of the head, the beast's gaping jaws framing the face and its forelegs knotted at the neck. The portrait is rendered in the high-relief Hellenistic style, with finely detailed curling hair visible beneath the pelt and strongly modelled facial features characteristic of the posthumous Alexandrine coinage tradition. |
