Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left upon a low stool-throne, his upper body nude and draped from the waist, holding an eagle perched on his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre upright in his left. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. In the left field appears a monogram, and below the throne the control mark ΦΙ is inscribed. The composition adheres to the canonical Alexandrine reverse type established under Alexander III and perpetuated throughout the Diadoch period.
