| Obverse description | Youthful head of Heracles facing right, clad in the Nemean lion skin headdress with the scalp drawn over the crown and the forepaws knotted at the neck; the finely rendered curling hair emerges beneath the pelt. The portrait is executed in the late Lysippan tradition characteristic of posthumous Alexandrine coinage, with idealized facial features and high relief modeling. A dotted border frames the design along the coin's irregular flan edge. |
