| Obverse description | Facing right, the youthful head of Heracles depicted without beard, enveloped in the scalp of the Nemean lion, the gaping jaws forming a headdress over the crown and the paws knotted at the neck. The modelling of the face is rendered in the Lysippan tradition, with softly articulated features and curling locks visible beneath the lion skin. The flan is irregular and slightly worn, consistent with circulation use. No legend or inscription appears on the obverse. |
