| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of King Hippostratos facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition with finely detailed hair bound by a royal diadem with trailing ribbons visible behind the neck. The effigy displays characteristic Indo-Greek stylistic features, with the king shown in three-quarter perspective. A circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait in the field, reading BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΣΩTHΡΩΣ IΠΠOΣTΡATOΥ, identifying the king by his royal epithet 'Saviour'. |

| Reverse description | The king Hippostratos depicted as an armoured equestrian figure mounted on a prancing horse moving to the right, wearing a crested Macedonian-style helmet and military dress. Below the horse, a monogram within a square control mark is visible in the lower field. A palm branch appears to the right of the composition. The surrounding legend in Kharosthi script reads the Prakrit equivalent of the obverse Greek legend, conforming to the standard bilingual format of Indo-Greek coinage. |
