Obverse description Diademed, cuirassed and draped bust of King Hermaeus facing right, wearing a Macedonian kausia hat. The effigy is rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition, with fine detail on the diadem ribbons and cuirass shoulder fittings. A circular Greek legend surrounds the royal portrait within the field.
