Reverse description The deified founder Arsakes I seated right on a throne, depicted as an archer holding a strung bow in his right hand. A control letter 'A' appears to the inner left of the figure and 'H' to the inner right, with a palm branch to the outer right. A Greek inscription surrounds the scene, reading the royal Arsacid titulature. The composition follows the canonical Parthian reverse type established by earlier Arsacid rulers, enclosed within a beaded border.
