Reverse description Zeus standing facing right in full figure, draped in himation, holding a long upright sceptre in his left hand with his right arm extended outward in a gesture of authority or benediction. The image of Zeus reflects the strong Hellenistic iconographic influence on Indo-Parthian coinage. A Kharosthi legend surrounds the figure in the field, naming the king Gudaphara with his full royal titulature. The reverse fabric is irregular and slightly porous, consistent with hammered billon production at the Taxila Sirsukh mint.
Reverse script Kharosthi
Reverse lettering MAHARAJASA RAJATIRAJA TRATARA DEVAVRATA GUDAPHARASA
