| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and bearded bust of Emperor Geta facing right, rendered in high relief in the provincial style typical of the Phoenician mint at Tyre. The portrait displays finely detailed hair and a short curly beard characteristic of Geta's iconography. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΓΕΤΑϹ ϹΕΒ, identifying the emperor as Augustus Caesar Geta. The field is plain, with the bust occupying the majority of the flan. A beaded border runs along the outer edge of the coin. |

| Reverse description | An eagle stands facing, head turned to the left, with wings spread wide, rendered in bold provincial style characteristic of the Tyrian mint. The eagle stands upon what appears to be a club or palm branch between its talons, a motif common to Phoenician imperial tetradrachms. The circular Greek legend ΔΗΜΑΡΧ ΕΞ ΥΠΑΤΟϹ ΤΟ Β runs around the periphery, proclaiming Geta's tribunician power and second consulship. A dotted border frames the entire design. The exergue features a wavy line motif representing the sea, an allusion to Tyre's maritime character. |
