| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a crested Attic helmet adorned with a laurel wreath encircling the bowl. The goddess's hair flows in long, wavy locks beneath the helmet, rendered with fine detail characteristic of Hellenistic engraving. The facial profile is of high artistic quality, displaying the serene, idealized features typical of late Hellenistic civic coinage from the Troad. The field is plain, with the design occupying the full flan. |

| Reverse description | Athena Ilias standing to right in the cult image type, holding a distaff in her extended right hand and a filleted spear in her left; the figure is rendered in a hieratic, archaic stance reflecting the sacred statue of the goddess worshipped at Ilion. To the inner left, a monogram appears in the field; to the inner right, an owl stands facing right with head turned to face the viewer, a symbol closely associated with Athena.
