Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned to the left upon a backless throne, his upper body nude and draped from the waist, holding an eagle perched with spread wings in his extended right hand and a lotus-tipped sceptre upright in his left. The legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ is disposed in the right and left fields respectively, with the control mark ΑΝΤΙΦ appearing in the lower left field. The composition follows the canonical Alexandrine reverse type as struck at Tarsos under Demetrius Poliorcetes.
