Reverse description Poseidon Pelagaios standing nude facing left in a vigorous striding posture, his right foot advanced and resting on a rock or elevation, brandishing a trident in his raised right hand while his left hand rests on his hip. A chlamys (military cloak) falls behind him. To the left field, a monogram of AN within a circle above the partial legend BAΣIΛEΩΣ; to the right, the legend ΔHMHTPIOY reads vertically downward. The whole is set within a beaded border on a flan of irregular form characteristic of Hellenistic hammered coinage.
