Reverse description Poseidon Pelagaios standing left in a commanding pose, his right foot raised and resting upon a rocky outcrop, while his left hand firmly grasps an upright trident. The god is depicted nude with a muscular, heroic physique rendered in the Hellenistic tradition. The legend ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟΥ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ, reading 'of King Demetrios,' is disposed around the figure in the outer field. Monograms appear in the outer left and right fields serving as mint control marks. The composition is bold and well-centered, consistent with the artistic standard of the Pella mint during the reign of Demetrios I.
