Reverse description Poseidon Pelagaios, nude and heroically proportioned, stands facing left with his right foot propped upon a rock or promontory, his weight shifted forward in a dynamic contrapposto pose. He holds a long trident in his raised left hand while his right arm rests upon his bent knee. A monogram appears in the inner left field, and an HP monogram enclosed within a wreath is placed between his legs. The royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟΥ runs along the upper and right periphery of the reverse field.
