Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with a Corinthian-type helmet adorned with an olive wreath and a long flowing crest. The goddess's hair falls in loose, carefully detailed locks beneath the helmet, and she wears a beaded necklace visible at the truncation. The facial features are delicately modeled with a refined, idealized profile characteristic of late Hellenistic die engraving.
