Obverse description Turreted head of Tyche facing right, wearing a mural crown with crenellated battlements rendered in fine detail. The goddess displays flowing wavy hair falling in loose locks behind the neck, executed in the Hellenistic artistic tradition. The facial features are rendered with naturalistic precision, with a graceful profile characteristic of late Hellenistic die-cutting from the Smyrnaean mint.
