| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Apollo facing right, his elaborately dressed hair gathered in a bun at the nape and adorned with a laurel wreath, rendered in fine Hellenistic style. A quiver of arrows is visible at his shoulder, projecting forward beneath the chin. The portrait displays idealized classical features with a refined, youthful countenance. The design is enclosed within a plain dotted border (beaded circle). No legend appears on the obverse. |
