Obverse description Draped bust of Artavasdes II facing right, his effigy rendered in Hellenistic style. The king wears the distinctive five-pointed Armenian tiara crown, adorned with an eight-pointed star on its side. The portrait exhibits the fine engraving characteristic of late Hellenistic Armenian royal coinage, with drapery folds visible at the shoulder.
