Reverse description The enthroned archer type, a canonical Parthian reverse design, depicts a bearded figure — the deified Arsaces I — seated right upon an omphalos throne, holding a strung bow in his outstretched right hand. A monogram appears in the field above the bow. The design is framed by a continuous Greek legend distributed around the periphery of the coin. The composition follows the established Parthian royal iconography that emphasises legitimacy through dynastic and divine continuity.
