| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing an Attic helmet decorated with a laurel wreath along the bowl. The goddess's hair flows in loose locks beneath the helmet, and her facial features are rendered with fine Hellenistic craftsmanship. The cheek guards of the helmet are visible, framing the profile. The flan is broad and irregular, characteristic of civic Hellenistic silver coinage from the Troad region. |
