| Reverse description | Zeus Nikephoros seated on a throne facing left, his upper body bare and a himation draped across his lower limbs. In his outstretched right hand he holds Nike, the winged goddess of victory bearing a wreath, while his left hand rests upon a tall sceptre. The throne is depicted in profile with decorative legs. Monograms appear beneath the throne seat and in the outer left field, serving as mint or magistrate control marks. The royal Greek legend runs in two lines along the left and right fields flanking the seated deity. |
