| Obverse description | Diademed head of Antiochos I Soter facing right, depicted in the Hellenistic royal portrait tradition with finely rendered wavy hair secured by a royal diadem, the ends of which fall behind the neck. The facial features are youthful and idealized, with a straight nose, slightly parted lips, and a clean-shaven jaw, rendered in high relief characteristic of early Seleucid coinage. The portrait fills the flan with commanding presence, set against a smooth field within a dotted border. |

| Reverse description | Apollo, the dynastic deity of the Seleucid house, seated in three-quarter view to the left upon the sacred omphalos, his nude figure rendered with classical grace. In his extended right hand he holds an arrow, while his left arm rests upon a grounded bow at his side. The royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ above and ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ below flanks the central type, and control monograms appear in the outer left and right fields, varying by emission. The composition reflects the Apolline dynastic iconography established under Seleukos I. |
