| Reverse description | Apollo, nude, seated left upon the omphalos, his body shown in three-quarter view. With his right hand he tests the point of an arrow, while his left hand rests upon a grounded bow set upright to his right. The reverse field carries the royal Greek legend in two lines flanking the figure. A tripod appears in the lower exergue as a control symbol, with a bee serving as an additional mint control mark depending on the variety (either in the exergue or inner left field). The composition follows the standard Seleucid reversal type established under Seleukos I. |
