| Obverse description | Diademed head of Antiochos Hierax facing right, rendered in a distinctive barbarous style characteristic of the peripheral or imitative workshops associated with his coinage. The diadem ends are visible trailing behind the neck, and the hair is depicted in thick, roughly modelled locks swept back from the forehead. The facial features — including a pronounced nose and strong jaw — are boldly if somewhat crudely engraved, reflecting the provincial character of the issue. No legend appears on the obverse. |

| Reverse description | Nude Apollo seated in three-quarter view to left upon the sacred omphalos, holding an arrow in his extended right hand and resting his left hand upon a grounded bow. The composition follows the standard Seleucid reverse type established under Antiochos I. The royal Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ runs in two lines flanking the figure, and a control monogram (XE) together with an eagle appear in the field as mint or magistrate marks. |
