Obverse description Diademed head of an idealized youthful king facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition with finely modeled facial features, short curling hair, and a diadem tied at the back with trailing ends visible behind the neck. The portrait is clean-shaven with a subtly idealized, almost Apollonian quality consistent with Seleucid royal imagery of this period. The bust is set within a plain field bordered by a continuous dotted circle near the rim.
