Obverse description Head of the hero Herakles facing right, depicted as a youthful, idealized effigy wearing the Nemean lion scalp headdress, the lion's mane and paws rendered in fine detail draped over the neck and shoulders. The facial features are finely modeled in the late Classical Greek style, with a strong jaw, aquiline nose, and deeply set eye. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. No legend appears on the obverse, consistent with the standard Alexander-type coinage.

Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left upon a high-backed throne, his semi-draped body depicted in a powerful yet serene three-quarter frontal pose. His outstretched right hand holds an eagle perched facing right, while his left hand rests upon a long vertical scepter. A small Nike or eagle control symbol appears in the left field, and a secondary control mark is visible beneath the throne. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs vertically along the right field. The design is enclosed within a beaded border.
