Reverse description Deep incuse square divided into four equal recessed compartments by a raised cruciform pattern, characteristic of early Thracian Greek coinage of Abdera. The four quadrants are each sunken with flat surfaces, creating a bold geometric design. No legend or additional devices are present. The incuse technique reflects the archaic Greek minting tradition of the mid-fifth century BC.
