Reverse description Nike standing in three-quarter view, facing left, her large spread wings prominent behind her; she is semi-draped, with drapery falling about her lower body, and raises her right hand to erect or crown a tall Corinthian trophy consisting of a helmet and cuirass mounted on a stake. A small male captive figure kneels or stands at the base of the trophy to the right. Control symbols appear in the field to the left and right. The two-line inscription ΑΓΑΘΟΚΛΕΟΣ is incised in the exergue, identifying the issuing authority as Agathokles, ruler of Syracuse.
