Reverse description Frontal facing head of Arethusa (here rendered with Athenian attributes and identified as Athena), turned very slightly to the left, wearing a triple-crested Attic helmet decorated with palmette ornaments on the cheekpieces. She wears a double-spiral pendant earring and a necklace of acorns with a central gorgoneion medallion. The engraver's signature ΕΥ-Κ / ΛΕΙΔ-Α is incised across the helmet bowl. Four dolphins swim in the surrounding field, and the ethnic legend ΣΥΡΑΚΟΣΙΩΝ curves around the periphery.
