Obverse description Bare head of Herakles facing right, clad in the Nemean lion-skin headdress, the scalp drawn over the crown with the forepaws knotted beneath the chin. The hero's youthful features are rendered in fine high relief in the Hellenistic tradition, with carefully articulated curling locks visible beneath the pelt. The field is plain and unlettered, with no border visible on this irregular flan.

Reverse description Forepart of a horse facing left, rendered in bold relief with finely detailed mane and bridle, its mouth slightly open. A grain ear (corn ear) appears in the lower left field, and a tall palm tree with pendant date clusters occupies the right field, both serving as characteristic Punic civic symbols. A Phoenician legend is inscribed along the lower exergual area, reading 𐤌𐤇𐤌𐤇𐤍𐤕, denoting the Punic authority of issue. The entire design is framed within a beaded border.
