| Reverse description | Owl standing to right with head facing forward in the traditional Athenian type, rendered with careful detail to the feathering. An olive sprig and crescent symbol appear behind the owl, while a bunch of grapes is depicted over the tail. The ethnic inscription AΘE (abbreviation for Athenion or of Athenian association) is placed in the left field before the owl. The overall design closely follows the canonical Athenian 'New Style' or related coinage tradition, adapted in a Bactrian regional context. |
