| Obverse description | Facing right, the youthful head of Hermes rendered in archaic style, wearing a broad-brimmed petasos. The hair is elaborately dressed, wound around the head in a plaited fillet, with individual locks rendered with careful detail. The portrayal reflects the accomplished die-cutting characteristic of early Classical Thracian coinage, with strong relief and expressive facial features occupying the full obverse field. |

| Reverse description | Within a deep incuse square, a billy goat stands to the right in high relief, rendered with naturalistic musculature and prominent horns curving backward; to the right and before the goat, a small dog stands to the right, its diminutive scale contrasting with the dominant animal. The ethnic legend ΑΙΝΙ appears in bold Greek characters in the upper field above the goat. The incuse square features a slightly granular surface typical of early Classical hammered coinage from this Thracian mint. |
