Obverse description Biga (two-horse chariot) moving to the right, rendered in high relief with fine incuse work; the two horses are depicted in vigorous motion, their forelegs raised, with the charioteer's reins visible to the left and the spoked wheel of the chariot prominent in the lower left field. A Nike or similar small figure appears in the exergue below the groundline, serving as a victory emblem. The composition is set within a broad, irregular flan typical of Sicilian coinage of this period, with no encircling legend on the obverse.
