| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing left, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with idealized youthful features and wavy locks of hair bound beneath a laurel wreath. The face displays a serene, classicizing expression with a straight nose and softly modeled chin. Long strands of hair fall behind the neck and over the shoulder, with individual curls carefully articulated by the engraver. The field is plain and unlettered, with the portrait occupying the full flan in the Alexandrian civic tradition. |
