| Obverse description | Janiform head depicted in high relief, featuring a laureate male head facing right juxtaposed with a female head facing left, the latter adorned with an elaborate stephane and a richly decorated wreath incorporating grape clusters, foliage, and floral elements rendered in fine detail. The male profile displays strong classical features with a laurel wreath, while the female face exhibits delicate modeling characteristic of late Hellenistic artistry. Both heads share a common neck, a distinctive iconographic hallmark of Tenedian coinage throughout its series. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, consistent with hand-struck production of the period. |

| Reverse description | A large double-headed axe (labrys) displayed upright at center, its broad double blades filling the field, with a small pellet at the junction of the blades; this emblem is the principal civic symbol of Tenedos. To the lower left of the handle appears a figure of a standing deity or hero and a bunch of grapes, while to the lower right a right hand (dextrarum iunctio or civic symbol) is visible. The entire design is enclosed within a broad olive wreath border. The Greek ethnic legend ΤΕΝΕΔΙΩΝ arcs above the axe across the upper field. |
