| Obverse description | Facing three-quarter right portrait of the laureate Apollo, rendered in the advanced artistic style characteristic of early 4th-century Macedonian coinage. The god's hair falls in loose, flowing waves to either side of the face, framing the youthful yet idealized visage with careful attention to modeling.
