| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with long wavy hair falling in thick locks behind the neck and bound with a laurel wreath of naturalistic detail. The facial features are sharply modeled with a straight nose, slightly parted lips, and a well-defined jawline characteristic of late Hellenistic coin portraiture. The hair cascades in elegant spiral curls at the nape, conveying a sense of youthful idealism associated with Apolline iconography. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, with the portrait occupying a commanding central position in the field. |

| Reverse description | Apollo Grynios depicted standing to the right in a hieratic pose, holding a phiale (libation bowl) in his outstretched right hand and a filleted laurel branch in his left. At his feet to the right rest an omphalos and an amphora, sacred cult objects associated with the sanctuary of Apollo at Grynion in Aeolis. A monogram appears in the left field as a mint control mark. The entire composition is enclosed within a wreath of laurel leaves, and the ethnic legend MYPINAIΩN is inscribed around the reverse field, identifying the issuing city of Myrina. |
