| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with carefully detailed hair arranged in wavy locks beneath a laurel wreath; a long tendril of hair falls behind the neck. The portrait displays youthful idealized features with a smooth cheek and strong profile, characteristic of the artistic conventions of second-century BC Aeolian civic coinage. The field is plain and unlettered. |
