Reverse description Pegasus in full flight to the right, wings spread, rendered in a compact and stylised manner within an unbordered field. The figure is surrounded on all sides by a five-line Greek legend arranged to fill the circular flan, reading ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΝ ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ ΑΡΣΑΚΟΥ ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟΥΣ, translating as 'of the Great King of Kings Arsaces the Illustrious'. The inscription is characteristic of the grandiose royal titulature adopted by Mithradates II.
