Reverse description Athena Itonia standing in three-quarter view facing left, clad in chiton and himation, wearing a crested Attic helmet; she advances with a spear held diagonally across her body in her right hand and a shield on her left arm. The ethnic legend ΘΕΣΣΑΛΩΝ occupies the left field and the magistrate's name ΟΡΘΟ appears to the right, flanking the figure. The composition closely follows the standard reverse type of the Thessalian League bronze issues of the late second century BC.
