| Obverse description | Draped bust of Artemis facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and bound, adorned with a stephane or wreath. A bow and quiver are visible over her left shoulder, rendered in fine Hellenistic style. The portrait is executed with confident, fluid modeling characteristic of Pontic royal coinage of the late second to early first century BC, with drapery visible at the truncation. |
